Academic Program

The structure of the Taiwan Capstone year has been thoughtfully designed to help Flagship students reach their academic and professional goals. The first semester of the program offers four highly rigorous, intellectually rewarding courses taught strictly in the target language. These courses combine theoretical analysis with practical real-world application in contemporary China. In combination with a full-time internship, which comprises the majority of the second semester, and a culminating three-week intensive Chinese Language Practicum, students will come away from their Capstone year in Taiwan with a deep cultural understanding and appreciation, superior language abilities, and a wide range of interpersonal skills that will allow them to thrive in their domain professions.
